Marshall Eaton
Marshall Eaton is a high-achieving young professional whose academic excellence, engineering capability, and leadership experience reflect a rare combination of discipline, intelligence, and initiative. Completing his MBA at the University of Nevada, Reno, where Marshall graduated with honors at age 21. His graduate studies emphasized executive strategy, real estate investment analysis, financial modeling, and early-stage startup development, reflecting his continuing interest in applying analytical thinking to business, technology, and investment opportunities.
Marshall previously earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, graduating with a 3.84 GPA while completing minors in Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics. He is EIT certified (#OT9157) and holds professional CAD certification (CSWA), further demonstrating his technical depth and engineering foundation. His academic path began early—he completed his Associate of Applied Science degree from Truckee Meadows Community College at age 17, graduating summa cum laude with a 3.92 GPA.
Professionally, Marshall currently works for Astra Space, Inc in Alameda California. Marshall previously gained previous hands-on engineering and operational experience through his internship with Legrand’s Server Technology division while attending the University of Nevada, Reno. There, he supported design and process engineering, supply chain logistics, product management, CAD design, and product development. His work exposed him to real-world engineering workflows and cross-functional coordination typical of high-performance technology organizations. He also gained business-facing operational experience during his time with the Victorian Inn, where he supported management, customer service, and internal recordkeeping using Excel and other tools.
Marshall’s leadership strength is strongly rooted in his long-standing involvement with the Boy Scouts of America. Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout at age 15, he led an extraordinary service project that secured a $34,000 donation of James Patterson novels in partnership with the nonprofit Salute American Heroes. Marshall coordinated a statewide distribution effort spanning Northern and Southern Nevada, directing volunteers and logistics to deliver books to VA hospitals, the Reno Marine Corps League, Honor Flight organizations, and other veteran-serving venues. His work impacted more than two thousand veterans and demonstrated his ability to manage complex operations, secure partnerships, and lead mission-driven teams.
Marshall’s analytical background includes building advanced Excel models for real estate investment analysis, leveraging DCF, IRR, NPV, and sensitivity modeling to evaluate valuation scenarios and market conditions. His technical skill set spans Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and basic programming in MATLAB and Python. Beyond academics and work, he is currently learning Italian and maintains a strong set of personal interests, including competitive golfing, road cycling, automotive restoration and fabrication, and reading. He is also a member and former Risk Chairman of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.
